Random Post #unknown
Today is my last day of work. Tomorrow, it’s going to be just Caleb and me at home. No more salary boohoo but sacrifices have to be made and I know peace of mind is more satisfying than money.
Tonight we have to make hatid (yuck conyo, sa totoo di ko ma recall english term) my mom to the the airport. Sigh! no more yummy cooking.
Tomorrow, I’ll be doing some spring cleaning, gaad, the house is a mess!!!! Toys, coupons and magazines everywhere. Dust accumulating, that I can use it as face powder or maybe mud pack. I’ve got to be more organized! Gaadd, why am I such a messy person, I never did learn to pick up after myself (naanad ug maid, pero wa naka sa pinas dai!). I absolutely abhor household chores. I also lost my rsd4 (nintendo ds card) and memory card, Yiek has been complaining that I keep on looking for my stuff everyday.
Yiek has been pestering me everyday (every 5-10 minutes), he wants us to buy a new Samsung LCD tv. I keep on telling him, us buy a tv when I just quit my job you’ve got to be kidding!. The budget for tv has long since been depleted serves him right for returning our tv, yes he returned our kick-ass tv last January because of some imaginary defect. He keeps on inisting that there are some lines that only he can see. Mas arte pa sa q.a.!
The good news, I only have to pay $75 for my trip to the emergency room. I thought I would hyperventilate when I see the bill, turns out its not as bad as I expected (I was expecting to pay 600).
The little one has been testing my patience, he is only 4 months and he is sooo demanding what more if he becomes a toodler. I can imagine him rolling on the floor crying his heart out because I wouldn’t buy a toy *shaking head in horror*. Spoiled brat that he is, so much like his daddy!
I’ve been meaning to blog this but didn’t have the energy to do so, our condo is done, finito! Yes!!!! I can finally transfer it to a bank loan. I can finally avoid the super HIGH interest.
Presenting our condo:

Welcome – Unit 3E

Entrance

Masters and 2nd room

Restroom

Kitchen
Ain’t she a beauty, up for rent or sale! Just holler if you know someone who needs a condo in Pasig.
Yes, this post has no sense. When have I ever posted a senseful (is there such a thing?) post.

My First Mother’s Day
A Happy Mother’s Day to me.
Saturday, I received a call saying that they can’t locate my apartment, I failed to get the first few words so it caught me by surprise when she appeared on our doorstep bringing purple tulips.
“Nakakaon ug uk2 si Daria?” was my first thought but when I looked at the card, it was from my besty Georgia. Thanks sis!!! We were busy that day doing some last minute shopping for my Mom who is going home this Monday *sob*. When we got home, I got a package from Japan. Thanks Ri!!! I enjoyed the macadamia chocolates and hid it from my pesky husband so I and only I can gooble the sinful chocos.
On Monday I receive a greeting card from Maila. Wow! I have wonderful friends it certainly compensated for my inutil husband who did not even greet me “happy mother’s day”.
What a mother’s day it was!!!
12:00 am, I was at the emergency room because I had asthma (not really the serious kind but Yiek was urging me to go because I was wheezing)! Sunday, we went to Liberty but it was soo cold, so Caleb was throwing tantrums and I was trying my best to pacify him.
We then went to Red Ribbon for dinner and there I realized that I lost my freakin’ wallet! All my credit cards, my insurance card, my driver’s license and $40 lost! So, I had to call customer service to cancel all my cards. To date, the credit company hasn’t issued my cards back yet.
If it rains it pours badluck that is.
P.S.
Pciture of the gifts to follow

Good luck
Last Monday, we went to a daycare center near our place. Their equipments are top of the line such as a secured door (only parents and employees can login) and parentview, a system wherein parents can view their kids via a livestream feed. It was great too since they separate the kids according to age so they can develep with their age group, 6 weeks-6 months (infant), 6 months – 18 months (cruisers and toddlers) and other age groups. I like that they teach the kids how to develop their pyscho-motor and intellectual skills.
I didn’t however like the 6 weeks – 6 months setting, cribs are lined up and placed on top of another a kin to cages in some pet shop. In fact I hated it, I felt like I’m putting my kid in a dog pound. I was semi-open to the idea of putting Caleb on a daycare but when I saw the place, then and there I decided that I would quit my job and take care of Caleb, to hell with lesser money to spend. Yiek is scared shitless that his salary will not be enough for the three of us. I know we can make it. It’s just for a few months and then I’ll be ok with putting him in daycare.
I’ll be cooking a lot from home and packed Yiek his baon, so he will have to bear my cooking no matter what! wehehehe. Good thing, I’m breastfeeding so that would be big savings on formula and I still have lots of clothes for Caleb until he reaches 6 months, so no unnecessary expense. Wish us luck, its gonna be a big trial for us in the coming months.
