This Week

-Let me have a kitkat moment-

Though we are using safeguard(the soap bar), wala na akong konsensya. I don’t feel guilty not attending the meeting because I deserve this break.

The good news is that I’ll be having a 5-day break and I’ll be in Cebu tomorrow afternoon. Yippee! Hopefully I can find my massage GC, so I can use it while waiting for maila and aprilfools’s work to finish. I’ve also ordered lechon so when I arrive home, I could eat it right away (I’m planning not to eat lunch so I can stuff myself).

Another good news is that I’ll finally be able to upload my wedding pictures. We are planning to get Meridian DSL within this week (hopefully).

Blog-marathon ata to. Truth is, I’m not in the mood to work.

I’m currently filling-up my insurance and I’m confused as to what my surname should be. I haven’t really used my new name. When greenwich delivery asked me last weekend, I immediately answered “Sintclaire Chavez”, then belatedly realized that I’m not single anymore. Can I just keep my name, so I won’t get confused? My signature? olalala! it’s ugly hehehe, everytime I try to use it, it does not look the same.

Hay naku!

I was idle for 3 f***ing months and the japs chose this week to come here and discuss our project. No way am I cancelling my trip for this!

A Bummer Weekend

Friday:

Vinsoy pm’ed me if we could have an inoman session at our small abode. So, naturally being the kind hearted person that I am (hehehe) agreed. After work I immediately went home and cleaned the house as if I were superman. He & Guia arrived around 9:30 but the inoman session started 11:00 since others had still not arrived. Guia and I became impatient with waiting that we took 4 straight shots. The others arrived around 12 and I was quite tipsy na at that time. I heard overheard them saying “‘yan si claire, matagal ‘yang malasing” and being quite tipsy I became proud of the feat. and downed some more. i think i took about 8 shots in total and slept in bed while they were talking. When the visitors had gone home, my husband being pesky as he is (he was making fun of me, you see), told me tha Guia and Vinsoy are in the sala sleeping. As I was quite tipsy, I believed him and went there to have a look at them, naturally they were not there. He then told me that they were downstairs talking, so I went downstairs(nasa third floor kami ha) in sleepwear and took a peek. Hahay! talaga naman.

When I woke up, I guess I was still tipsy because I got hood-winked again into thinking that they were in the sala sleeping. I only realized that morning that he was joking with me. Grrr!

Saturday

The wallpaper? We didn’t do it because I was sleeping the whole afternoon. We went to Market! Market! come night time and I went berserk when I saw all the semi-tiangge items that I could buy. We watched “The wedding”, a funny but predictable movie.

Sunday

I went to the nearby parlor to have my nails and eyebrows done as we were to attend a wedding in the afternoon. I arrived back at home come 3:00 PM and saw him still playing the PC. I was quite grumpy (my period came that night) and nag him for his procastination. We had a big a la telenovela fight and ended up not attending the wedding. So there goes my weekend, sunday was really quite a bummer.

Bisdak Ko Bai!

Previously, I posted in tagalog, now let me do it in pure bisaya and a little bit of english as we cebuanos always mix these two languages (sorry po sa mga manila-friends ko =)).

Di ba lisod man magbinisaya nga bisaya ra dyud. Pirmi man dyud na naay gamay inenglis. Pusta pa ta ug inom nga inig sulti ninyo naa dyud pakapin nga bisaya. Ay! ayaw na lang oi kay matipsy ko parehas sa una hehehe. o! unsaon man pagbinisaya anang tipsy beh? aber? dili man pwede hubug, pwede cguro “nagkindang-kindang kay nakainom gamay”, taasa pud sa bisaya oi hehehe. butangan nako ug “(…)” ang akong bisaya nga versiones(wa na dyud koy mahuna-huna-an nga bisaya ani), ingna ko kung sakto ba hehehe.

Kay ang ngalan sa akong blog kay “Aneshka’s useless rants” (mga way pulos nga yawyaw ni aneshka), Wa na pud ni pulos kay tag-ana? Sa kanunay(As usual) wala na pud ko lingaw. Akong paninguhaun nga bisaya ra dyud ang akong iyaw-yaw diri. oki doki!

Kapoy pud ug huna-huna tagalog kay usahay itranslate(lisoda ibisaya ani oi, pwede “ibalhin sa laing lenguahe”) nako sa engles unya nako i-tagalog. Usahay matintal ko ug ingon ug “lugar lang”, palihug ko sa plete, plete o! o di kaha toktok sa jeep.

Hapit pud ko makaingon ug tag-pila na? ug usahay lisod man kau i-express(pagpakita sa gibati) kung dili cebuano. Wa koy paki kung tan-awon ko nila kay bisdak kau ko mosulti, basta comfortable(com-por-tab-le sa bisaya) ko nga mag-cebuano.

Weird pud kay kung mo-ingon gani ka ug taga-cebu ka, mo-ingon dayon ug probinsya. hay!

oi..oi..oi..karon pa ko kabalo ani, di ba kung mokaon ta ug siopao butangan man dyud nato ug ketsap(usa pa ni, dapat ket-suup pag sulti). Weird(medyo wala sa pangutok) daw ta kay butangan na2.. Hmmm. mauwaw na lang hinoon ko mangayo sa chowking pero bahala na mas lami man beh kung naay ket-sup.

pag-comentya pud mo oi para kuno daghan ko ug mga migo ug miga hehehe. Ug ikaw pud batig nawong, pagbutang pud diha, cge ra ka basa ug panaway. Hmmmp…ako dyud na butangan ini-nit tubig imong itlog kung di ka mo-commentya. Nindot noon na naa tay sud-an nyehehehe.

No title yet (Can’t think of one)

Sometimes I can be so damn clumsy. Last thursday, while looking at maybelline’s face-powders I dropped their most expensive one on the floor, I was taken by surprise so I also dropped the other variety that I was holding. Shecks! of course the more expensive one got broken and I had to pay for it grrr!. Last night I spilled some meat on the floor because I was trying to save the laddle from dropping. And how many times did I hurt my toe because I was not looking at what I’m stepping at. Hay naku!

I have more than 10 drafts to post but all these are just drafts because I can’t get my mojo back to finish them.

We didn’t do much of our household chores last saturday because we were too lazy. We were too tired from playing pingpong and badminton come sunday so naturally no chores was done. Hay! I’m too lazy and even suggested hiring a cleaning lady just to clean our little abode. Note to self: Finish wallpapering(is this word right?) the wall on saturday, clean the house!!! Move your butt.

I am hugging the PC nowadays and would not let my hubby touch it hahaha! I got addicted to playing Neverwinter nights, played for 3 hours on saturday, played almost the whole day on sunday and played the evening away last night. I’m even dreaming of my quests and can’t sleep properly. I like it though because we have reverse roles these days, I don’t need to tell him to wash the dishes and he’s the one making all the drama (he brushes his teeth, moves the electric fan to our bedroom and lies on the bed, in that order!) to let me feel that I should stop playing. hahaha

7 more days to go and I’m going home. Never thought that I’d get homesick. I miss eating lechon (will definitely eat this first), sinugbang baboy (difficult to find one here in manila), kublain khan (have been looking for a mongolian meal here,in baguio and boracay but couldn’t find one as good as this) and of course the home cooked meal at home. Di halatang matakaw ako hahaha. As silly as this sounds, I miss my soft bed and pillow. I’ve been toying with the idea of booking my flight a day earlier so I can at least sleep there for just one night but that would mean leaving my hubby a day earlier, nagtatampo na nga sa ‘kin dahil pupunta ako sa ******* na hindi siya kasama (Secret na lang muna kung saan).

Of weddings and such

I don’t know what it is about weddings that always get me soo excited. Nakiki-alam pa ako sa friend ko who is getting married this December hehehe. Although I was beyond stressed the week before my (oopps! our wedding pala, feeling ko kasi ako lang yung “Star”) wedding (di kasi makapaglet-go, hands-on pa rin kahit umiiyak na), I still miss the stress of the preparations. More so now that I am idle and only waiting for the Japs’ work order –insert sigh here-.

Why am I talking about weddings? Well, next week I’m going to attend the wedding of my husband’s ex-manager. I’m giddy with excitement because this is my first time here in Manila. Now, I have an excuse to buy new dress and shoes -wink-wink-. I’m also mighty curious of their reception venue -Fernwoods- because I’ve heard soo much ravings about it not to mention the many celebrities’ wedding that has been held there. Now I can get to see it for myself.

Part 2-Tagalog Post

Part 2 nang aking walang makabuluhang post.

Mahirap pala tong merong asawa dahil magiging instant alalay ka. Ito kasing mama ko inis-spoil ako, yan tuloy wala akong ka-alam2 sa buhay. Buti na lang hindi pa ako sinasauli nang asawa ko.

Mahirap din maglaba ha! kahit binababad ko lang siya mahirap din atsaka ngayong lang akong natutong magluto. Yung alam ko lang noon ay yung hotdog, instant noodles, instant pancit canton at pag-prito nang itlog. Mahirap din syang lutuan kasi hindi kumakain nang seafoods, prutas at limited lang na veggies. So ma-imagine nyo na, lahat nang putahi ko dapat karne. Nako maaga akong mabyi-byuda nito dahil malamang maaga itong aatakihin ng puso.

Hindi rin akong marunong maglinis nang buhay, noon una nya akong nakitang nagwawalis pinagtawanan pa naman ako, wala daw direksyon yung pagwawalis ko. Hmmp!

At syempre miski saan ko lang nilalagay ang aking mga gamit. eh! itong asawa ko ayaw nang kalat. Gabi-gabi pinapagalitan ako at ako laging ang “outside the kulambo”. Baligtad ata ang mundo a!

Mahirap din gumusing nang maaga lalong-lalo na ngayon na wala akong ma-isip na lulu-tuin dahil sawa na daw siya sa hotdog, luncheon meat, salami at itlog. Eh???? Ang sarap na talagang sunogin nang buhok nitong kumag, pinahihirapan ako a.

nabasa nya yung blog ko na sinabi kung pesky siya. Aba! proud pa naman dahil ‘don daw ako na in love sa kanya at mas worse pa sya ngayon. Gabi-gabi kahit natutulog nako, kinikiliti ako??? Grrrr!

..o part 3 na lang ibang topic na naman. Inip na inip na po ako kaya matiyaga akong nagba-blog ngayon.

Kauna-unang tagalog post

Dahil 3 buwan na ako dito sa Manila, at mukhang matatagalan pa kami dito magpo-post ako gamit ang ating pambansang wika. Pasensya na at ang pinakasimpleng mga salita lang ang gagamitin ko at yung espelling ay naku baka mali rin , lalo-lalo na yung grammar dahil 2nd year college pa yung last na nag-aral ako nito at walang silbi din yun dahil natutulog lang po at nangongopya ako sa klase. Ha-halo-an ko din ito paminsan-minsan nang englis na mga salita dahil malamang hindi ko na alam ang tagalog version nito.

Isa ring rason na tagalog ito dahil nai-inis at nakakaloka itong asawa ko, palagi nyang kino-korek yung grammar ko minsan ang sarap sunugin nang kanyang buhok dahil ang KULIT!

Pabala lang, wag nyo na tong basahin dahil wala rin tong kwentang blog. wala lang akong magawa ngayon at nai-inip ako.

Pinapraktis ko ngayon na ang ang mga salitang may ending na “cle” , dapat “kel” ang pagbigkas hindi “kol”. Halimbawa, tricikel hindi tricikol, choco krinkel, gogel, bukel? hehehe at nako minsan matigas parin yung pagka-pronounce ko. kinorek nga ako nang asawa ko nung bago pa lang ako dito dahil lahat nang tao miski driver o nagtitinda nang kendi sa gilid ay ginagamitan ko nang po “Ay di pala ganon” so ngayon medyo marunong na akomg gumamit nang po at ho.

kakainis! Ngayong lunch pumunta ako sa jolibee at nag take-out nang burger at fries. Pagdating ko sa ofis, tiningnan ko yung burger walang patty. Grrr! ang init pa naman ngayon sa labas!
